Today it's PART 3 of my INTO AN INTERVIEW with the Seattle band LOWLANDS, plus we hear from Chely Shoehart , Floyd the Floorman, and John Deer the Engineer! And when I die I will live on on Facebook which is another way of saying I'm going to Hell. We find out more in today's show.

Why do people gotta be so rude? At the dog park? Yeah, Basil got into a fight when a big scary husky mix of some kind started showing his teeth and going after Basil at Point Isabel. Later on I discovered this dog, called CinnaBear (?) had harassed a bunch of other dogs. The owner was a woman with a couple teenagers. They were completely clueless. Now that's just rude. And it's a shame because Point Isabel is such a miraculous dog park with a full view of the Golden Gate Bridge and Mount Tamalpais and a bunch of other landmarks on the Bay. It's also within walking distance of Costco's cheap hotdogs. Oh, but the lady that serves them is slower than John Mayer getting through a monologue.

Today it's PART 2 of my INTO AN INTERVIEW with the Seattle band LOWLANDS, plus we hear from Madame Rootabega, Valentino, and Bison Bentley! And Europe is launching spaceships? At least their spaceships give you a decent meal on board. Yeah, nuts don't actually count as a meal!

I attempted to talk about the cry-inducing power of endings on the last show. Then I heard about an ending that truly shocked me. Jon Stewart is saying bye to the Daily Show. I admit I do not watch the show anymore because I feel all it does is point out how ridiculous Fox News is and I think that's low hanging fruit. It's like @ Midnight making another frat joke. But I WAS addicted to the Daily Show from the Craig Kilborn days to when Jon took over. Jon was always brutally honest. Craig was a dressed up Ken doll. Jon was the "heart on his sleeve" guy who made you laugh in the most unexpected ways. An even bigger shock was finding out he's done the show for 17 years. God I'm old.

Today I am so very pleased to speak to the Seattle band LOWLANDS with TOM ROREM on INTO AN INTERVIEW, plus we hear from Benita, the Disgruntled Fiddle Player, and the Brewmaster! And your next job might be at...Home Depot? We'll find out why.

I didn't get to see Sam Smith perform at the Grammy's. I'm glad he won, even though it's like a replay of Adele winning a couple years ago. She was inspired to write most of the songs off "21" after a big break-up, and she, just like Sam, thanked the man who broke her heart for inspiring songs like "Rolling In the Deep" and "Someone Like You." She also swept the Grammy's that year. Oh yeah, and they're both British. They're both very soulful. Holy s#*$! Are they the same person? Did Adele release a new album and win more Grammy's without us noticing?

Today it's Chely Shoehart, Floyd the Floorman, and John Deer the Engineer! Plus, they're not so McHappy in Asia. We find out why. And anything amazing on the Grammy's last night. Um...sorta.

Wow! I actually got an email from You Tube today! After complaining about them a couple shows back, maybe someone got the message. I was perturbed that there seems to be no real way to contact the monolith with any real questions. We'll see where their help leads: IF they actually help. As for now I've worked out a way to get my show on the major online media site by doing a lot of extra work. All this is behind the scenes, so never mind. Today it's AWESOME RECIPES FROM BETTY and I interview this unique lady! Plus we hear from Madame Rootabega, Valentino, and Bison Bentley! And what stresses us out the most? That question, for one. We find out the answer on this show.

I went to see a band I've interviewed on this show, Cure For Gravity, (you can hear the interview under the "Interviews from 2014" section), along with another band I would love to get on the show, Mullerette, and I got there early per yoooooozh (maybe too early). There was an attractive woman sitting all alone in front of me. Usually in this case you can safely assume she's with one of the band members or someone that works at the venue. Or possibly she's waiting for a friend. Nope, I spoke to her and she just wanted to check out live music by herself. I thought, What a co in kee dink! I'm alone, too, and I like to check out live music. Yet she shunned me. Last I checked, I'd bathed. I guess she REALLY wanted to be alone. Fine, but geez, it's not like I'm Satan.

You have to really close your ears to the hysteria about Oakland. Yeah, it's had some bad years and horrific history, but yesterday I took BART downtown to take care of some legal stuff, and it was actually an enjoyable experience. The people I talked to were so nice, so patient! Compare that with dealing with Alabama, and it's night and day! AL is so impatient, so unhelpful! Arrrrrg, how that state frustrates!

Today I have the very creative music producer named ANTHONY VERNON, plus we hear from Madame Rootabega, Valentino, and Bison Bentley! And Staples is buying Office Depot? What was wrong with Office Max, Staples? You gotta thing against plus size offices?

So a friend of mine recently spent two hours with me and the entire time he talked about himself. Correction, he talked about himself and lambasted my website and podcast. He even tore apart the name of my show. You know how fragile I am and how put a lot of myself into my podcast. It's really personal, so getting attacked like this no matter how hard I try always makes it feel like it's a personal attack. Heck, I spend money on this dang thing! Word to the wise: If you feel the need to criticize and to tear down remember it is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to attempt to build back up. Otherwise you are a hater and a hater's gonna hate hate hate hate hate and that's about it.
